🚚 Logistics & Shipping

Do you offer collection services?

Yes. We operate a fully insured collection service via dedicated courier partners. For standard units, we can provide shipping labels. For large-venue chassis (e.g., Christie Boxer, Barco DP4K), we can arrange palletised collection including tail-lift services if required.

How do you handle repairs from the EU?

To ensure a seamless experience post-Brexit, we have established a dedicated EU Service Centre in Dublin. EU clients ship directly to Dublin, avoiding UK customs delays, tariffs, and complex Carnet paperwork. Your equipment stays within the EU single market.

Can I drop equipment off personally?

Yes, by appointment. You are welcome to deliver equipment directly to our Doncaster (UK) or Dublin (EU) facilities. Please contact our team beforehand to obtain a booking reference number so your intake is processed immediately upon arrival.

Do you perform component-level repair?

Yes. Unlike many authorised centres that rely solely on swapping expensive circuit boards, our lab is equipped for component-level diagnostics. We repair power supplies, ballasts, and mainboards at the circuit level (replacing capacitors, ICs, and MOSFETs), which often results in a significantly lower repair cost for you.

Can you repair optical blocks and prisms?

We provide advanced optical services, including:

  • 3LCD: Prism assembly cleaning and polariser replacement.
  • SXRD/LCoS: Panel alignment and contrast recovery.
  • DLP: Light tunnel rebuilding and DMD chip replacement.

All optical work is performed in a controlled environment to prevent dust ingress.

Do you calibrate projectors after repair?

Absolutely. Every repair concludes with a full calibration to factory specifications. For laser units, we perform white point balancing. For multi-projector blends, we can calibrate to specific coordinates (e.g., Rec.709, DCI-P3) if requested, ensuring the repaired unit matches your existing fleet.

Do you use genuine parts?

We prioritize genuine OEM parts for all critical components (optical engines, main processors, laser banks). For certain consumable electronics (fans, capacitors, filters), we may use high-grade equivalents that meet or exceed the original specifications to ensure longevity.

📋 Commercial & Warranty

What is your standard warranty?

We provide a comprehensive 90-day warranty on all repairs. This covers both the labour involved and any parts replaced. If the same fault reoccurs within this period, we will rectify it free of charge, including logistics costs.

Is there an inspection fee?

We offer a free initial desktop assessment. For physical bench diagnostics, a standard inspection fee applies, which covers the engineer's time to dismantle, test, and report on the fault. This fee is waived if you proceed with the quoted repair.

Do you offer trade accounts for integrators?

Yes. We partner with AV integrators, cinema chains, and facility management companies. Trade account holders benefit from priority bench slots, credit terms (subject to approval), and white-label reporting options.
